自己紹介
It is important that students learn and enjoy their English lessons as well as understand that they play a major role in improving their English skills. The teacher-student relationship is more of a partnership and is continually strengthened through the equal efforts of the educator and the learner. I look forward to playing an important role in strengthening this partnership through your efforts as an active learner. I started my teaching career as a Biology teacher and Laboratory Assistant in a Chinese school in Manila, where English was the medium of instruction. Shortly after, I worked in a language center for Koreans as an EFL Instructor, did some freelance tutoring for Korean families as well as being an Online EFL Instructor for Korean students in Quezon City before being part of this online school. I always think of learning English as a lifestyle and not just an academic undertaking as well as the importance of establishing rapport with the students to ensure a conducive learning environment. As the student, your role is to constantly practice what you have learned and expose yourself to different forms of media (books, magazines, internet sites, music, TV shows, movies, etc) to enhance your awareness in correcting your own errors upon committing them. Fluency is not about perfection, but being able to independently correct your mistakes seamlessly during a conversation. As your educator, my role is to guide, instruct, suggest, advise and enlighten you regarding your difficulties and enhance your learning strategies in the most practical and simplest means possible. Remember: "Learn English by any means possible and think of it as a lifestyle" I'm Ricky and I look forward to meeting you in my class soon :)
