Part 1: Vocabulary words

1. increase verb [in-krees]

to become greater or larger, to reproduce

2. introduce verb [in-truh-doos, -dyoos]

to present (someone) by name to another

◼ Example: She introduced her teacher to her mother.

3. prefer verb [pri-fur]

to choose or be in the habit of choosing as more desirable or as having more value

4. relax verb [ri-laks]

to become less tight or tense, to become less worried, to rest completely

5. run verb [ruhn]
