Hi, my name is Iriz. My name is pronounced like the flower, “iris.” I would like my students to feel comfortable and happy learning English with me. I’m hoping that I can help improve their English communication skills and sentence-construction. I used to work as a nurse in 2007-2008. Then, I’ve decided to teach Korean students in an online school for two years. Now, I’m working here. I love arts and I know how to draw and paint. I drew some of the illustrations in Eiken text lessons. I can also sing. I’m one of the back-up singers in our church’s Music Team. Unfortunately, I’m terrible at dancing. I believe that people learn more when they’re relaxed and not threatened. I like laughing with my students. I want them to feel at ease. That is the usual set-up of my class; learning and having fun. In order to make students relax in the lesson, I always pay attention to their feelings. I respect my students because I want them to respect me, too. Also, to make lessons more effective, I write / type down almost everything my students say in order for them to check and study their answers and corrections. I’m an amiable person. I may be soft-spoken but I guarantee that you will learn more from me  I want to see the Sakura Festival. Someday I wish I can visit Japan and take part in that marvelous festival! I would also like to eat okonomiyaki, miso soup, and those very kawaii bento boxes.

Iriz先生は、美術が大好きで、特に印象派がすきだそうです。画家の中では、ヴィンセントヴァンゴッホ、クリムト、グスタフが大好きだそうです。英語は他の人たちとのコミュニケーションに欠かせないものなので、先生の中で英語はとても重要だといいます。また読書や映画鑑賞などから、効率的に新しい言葉や知識を習うのも楽しいです。そのうち、世界中にある素晴らしい場所や美術館を訪問したり、色んな人とであってお話をしてみたいとの事です。先生は2006年に大学を出られて、その同じ年に看護師の試験を受けました。試験に無事に合格してライセンスも持っています。その後その資格を生かして、看護師として働いていました。それから一年くらいしてから、看護師の仕事から英語を教える仕事に移りました。生徒の方たちに英語を教えながら笑ったりお互い学んだりすることが本当に楽しいといいます。是非一緒に英語を楽しく学んで行きましょう♪ 得意分野：　初級テキスト、中級テキスト、上級テキスト、子ども英語、TOEIC、フリートークなど
