“The love of wisdom motivates you to keep on learning.” A pleasant day! My name is Desiree, a person who loves to explore different kinds of cuisine and one of my favorites is Japanese food. I started learning English when I was in Kindergarten where the medium of instruction for all subjects was English. During college time, I used to tutor Chinese and Korean students in all subjects as my part time job which gave me an experience on how to teach students with different culture. I have been in the teaching field for six years now in a school which is strictly using English for communication whether it is in the formal class talk or in informal conversation. I love to sing even if I do not really have a nice voice. During my leisure time, I watch American or English movies. It’s a good way to enhance your listening skills in English. I love Japanese food and my favorite is beef gyudon. I also hang out with my close friends and go to an eat-all-you-can Japanese restaurant , Wakamastu Yakiniku is the name. My principle as a teacher is that, I am not after of how wide the lesson is being covered but it is how deep the learning is being taken by my student. I believe in the quote, “Teacher appears when student is ready to learn”. Learning is a mutual process, no matter how ready the teacher is in her lesson if the student is not ready to learn then learning will not take place. I would gladly be a teacher to you, happy learner. Come on and let's learn with bunch of fun!
