Hi there! My name is Maica and I like watching movies, reading news and eating Asian cuisines. I’m an experienced English tutor from the Philippines and been teaching English since 2013. I’ve taught English as a Second Language to diverse cultures and nationalities such as Koreans, Japanese, Vietnamese and Chinese, both beginner and advanced speakers. I’ve also attended various English academic seminars which enabled me to teach business English to Asian business men. I am also an expert in teaching kids. I strongly believe that to be a good teacher, you must not just have the knowledge and skills. But you also need to have a bunch of patience and determination to help with your student’s improvement.
